How to Configure Default Price

In this article we are going to cover how to setup your default pricing for your tickets. Default pricing is the pricing the system uses when there is not any custom pricing setup. If there isn't any custom pricing setup, then default pricing will change your prices from the date and time you change it and on, for as long as the schedule is available. Custom pricing is usually set by Support and is located under Calendar Controls > Ticket Control.

Default prices are setup for each ticket and each associated trip those tickets are for. In order to change default prices, you will need to navigate in the menu to Settings > Resources > Trips.

Once on the Trips page, you will select the trip that contains the tickets you're wanting to edit. (You can click anywhere on the trip box to open the trip).

Once the Trip is open, navigate to the Tickets tab.

Once on the Tickets tab, scroll down to find the tickets you're wanting to change the prices for and edit the price box to reflect the new price. Once finished hit save to make sure your changes have been made.

Important Note: This will not change the prices if prices have been set in Calendar Control > Ticket Control. It will only change the prices for any dates & times that DO NOT have Ticket Control pricing. I always recommend checking a couple of days on Matrix or Booking Portal to make sure your prices are what they should be. Please see this article for how to edit Ticket Control prices.
