How To Manage Trip Images (Photos) and Videos

Follow the steps below to upload new images, remove existing ones, add videos, or set image priority for your trip listings.

Upload or Change Images and Videos

Navigate to Settings > Resources > Trips and select the trip you wish to edit.

Click on the Media tab.

Scroll to find the following sections:

Banner Image – this is the main image shown on your booking portal and the first image shown.
Additional Images – supporting photos for the activity, also will show on the scrolling images on the booking portal after the main image.
Video – paste a link to a YouTube video that will appear last in the media carousel.

Click the Upload button to add new media.

Once all changes are made, be sure to scroll down and click Save at the bottom of the page.

Setting Image Priority

You can control the order in which your images appear in the booking portal carousel by adjusting their priority.

Higher numbers are shown first.
This may feel backward from typical logic where “1” would be first—but in WaveRez, “10” takes top priority and will appear first.

To set image priority:

Click on the arrow icon next to an uploaded image.
In the popup that appears, input a number into the priority field (e.g., 8). The higher the number, the higher the priority. So if you have 10 images right now, the image you want shown first (after the main image) should be set to something like 20, then the second image you want shown should be 19, etc. This will leave you room for 10 additional photos without having to change all priority number later down the road.

Click Ok to confirm.

Don’t forget to scroll down and click Save to apply your changes.

Removing Images

To remove an image from your trip listing:

Click the trash bin icon 🗑️ on the image you wish to delete.

Confirm the removal in the popup.

Don’t forget to scroll down and click Save to apply your changes.
