How To Set-Up a New Promo Code
When a user needs to set-up a new promo code for booking, follow the steps below to activate the code:
Go to Promotions (under Marketing) in the menu bar on the left hand side of the screen.
Once here You can View Your Past Promo Codes and Re-Use One of these by Selecting Edit then Go. Then Update the Dates, Times and Details as Needed and Select Save
For a New Promo Code, select Create

General Tab:

Here you name your promo
type in the code that will be used (this has to be original, please create a code BEFORE printing marketing materials)
type the amount wether dollar or percentage
select wether this will be off every cart item or the whole cart
if there is a minimum price required to use the code, if not leave it blank
Product Tab:

Select what product(s) this promo can be applied to or leave set to Any
Schedule Tab

If you want the promo to only work for orders departing at specific times during the day then you would use this tab, click add range, and select to from and to times. If the promo can be used any time, this tab can be left blank.
Availability Tab

Enabled for TripShock allows use on TripShock or not
Cut off (days) allows you to prohibit the use of the promo within a set amount of days prior to departure
Arrival from / Arrival to allows you to set up the promo to only work for orders arriving inside of that date range. For example if I only want to allow this promo to be used for rentals in May, I would put May 1-May 31st.
Black Out Dates allows you to setup specific dates that this promo cannot be used on or through (for instance holidays)
Promo From / Promo To allows you to set a range of dates that the promo is allowed to physically be used. An example would allowing people to use a promo in May only regardless of when their rental or tickets are for.
Uses allows you to set a restriction on the amount of times the promo can be used
Dates ranges for this page are commonly confused so here's another real life example. You want to create a promo for Advanced Bookings for 4th of July. You want people to be able to use the promo during their order creation from March 1-May 15th, but you only want it to be able to apply to orders made on the 4th of July. So you would set arrival dates for July 4th to July 4th and you would set promo dates from March 1 through May 15th. This would accomplish the limitation given in this example.
If no such restriction is required, then you can just use the promo from - promo to to set up a year or many years for use at any time.
