How to Set Up and Manage Overnight (Multi-Day) Reservations

WaveRez now supports overnight and multi-day reservations—ideal for businesses offering delivery-based rentals or multi-day tours. You can now book activities spanning up to 7 days.

How to Enable Overnight Reservations



Go to Settings > Resources > Trips, then select the trip you want to configure.

Under the Tickets section, click + Add New Ticket or edit an existing one.

In the Duration dropdown, select Days instead of Minutes or Hours.

Select the number of days (between 1 and 7) this ticket should span.

Set the availability and departure times just like any other ticket.

Click Save to apply your changes.

Current Limitations



Currently, if there are no hourly based tickets on a trip, it will not show available on the Booking Portal. We understand some trips may be desired to be setup as multiday rentals only, so this is in the works for future improvements.
The multiday tickets will be listed in order of duration on the Booking Portal. The ability to sort the order in which these tickets are shown is not available currently and is in the works for future improvements.
Modifying multiday tickets departure time/date: Due to a multiday ticket blocking availability, some adjustments to the departure time & date will result in an availability error message on the system. This is the system's way of preventing overbooking. If you encounter this issue, please contact support for assistance with how to move it's departure date and/or time.
Modifying multiday tickets duration: The duration of the ticket is set by the ticket itself. The best way to approach these types of changes to a customers order would be to cancel that trip (the ticket only not the order) and rebook another ticket with the amended duration. This link is to a guide on exactly how to do this. This will allow you to use the same payment and the same order, while just changing the trip booked.
