Privilege Groups for Users
As and Owner, Admin, or Restricted Admin you can change the privileges of existing users as well as manage them from Settings > System Setup > Users. Once here, any users on this page except the owner can be set to a different privilege group by clicking on the 3 dots to the right of that users name and clicking "Change Privilege Group."
There are five types of privilege groups or restrictions for individual user logins: Admin, Restricted Admin, Reservations, Restricted Reservations and View Only. We will start will the group with the most access and work our way down to the most restricted. (the following images have blurred sections to protect user privacy)
- Admin: Admins have full access to WaveRez system. They can see the Dashboard, Reports, Calendar Controls, Emails setup, account settings, and make any changes to Trips that an owner can.
- Restricted Admins have the same access as Admins with the exception of financial information. They cannot see Dashboard, Reports, or the delete internal orders button. However, they can still use calendar controls, system settings, and default trip and equipment settings. Here's their menu:
- Reservations: Reservationist will have access to make, view or edit bookings. They can access all 4 views (daily manifest, matrix, single day and tours if applicable), they can make and cancel reservations as well as turn online bookings off by day, and adjust schedule or equipment availability on the matrix view only by day. They can also adjust business close out time via the matrix view. This is what a Reservationist login will see:
- Restricted Reservations: This group can make, view, or edit bookings. They can see all tabs of the order details. They can change the status of an order, refund, cancel, or make changes to orders. They cannot open/close equipment, schedules or online booking capabilities. These things have been removed for this group. See below:
- View Only: The View Only group is the most restricted. They can view bookings, availability and the 4 different views. They cannot make or edit reservations or adjust any availability. They can now see the orders overview page inside order details. However, no other order details tabs are viewable to this group. This is their home screen:
